Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport; a typical taxi fare to the hotel is approximately 47 EUR. Trains run from the airport to Termini Train Station every 20 minutes. The number 38 bus runs from the station to the hotel, which is 500 metres away. Rome's efficient integrated transportation system includes buses, trams, subway (metro) and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. The city centre is easily negotiated on foot. Traffic in Rome is often busy and chaotic so driving is not generally recommended. |
